Posana: My Gluten-Free Asheville Obsession (and Why You'll Love It Too!)
Hey y'all! 👋 Kristen here, and I'm about to share one of my absolute favorite spots in Asheville: Posana. If you're gluten-free like me, or just appreciate incredible food made with fresh, local ingredients, you need to know about this place.
As a GF gal, finding restaurants that truly understand my dietary needs can be a challenge. But Posana? They get it. They're Asheville's only 100% certified gluten-free restaurant, which means complete peace of mind when dining out. No cross-contamination worries here! It’s such a relief to find a place I can truly relax and enjoy myself.
Now, let's talk about the food. Posana's menu is a celebration of contemporary American cuisine, with a strong emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. I have a few personal obsessions on their menu: first, their cheddar biscuits. They are seriously addictive—fluffy, buttery, and you’d never guess they’re gluten-free. And don't even get me started on their seasonal desserts! They always have something tempting, and it’s such a treat to be able to indulge without worry.

And for those of you who appreciate a good drink, Posana has you covered. While I’m not much of a drinker myself, I absolutely love their creative mocktails. They’re so refreshing and flavorful—definitely not your average sugary mocktail.
Whether you're looking for a special occasion dinner or a casual meal, Posana offers a wonderful atmosphere. You can choose to dine inside in their main dining room, or grab a spot on their dog-friendly patio! They even have a special dog menu, so your furry friends can join in on the fun! 🐾
I'm so excited to hear the recent new that Posana is expanding to Biltmore Park this late spring! It’s going to be a great addition to that side of town.
If you're planning a trip to Asheville and are looking for a fantastic gluten-free dining experience (or just a great meal!), Posana is a must.
